What is Framely?
Framely is a digital photo frame that allows you to display and enjoy your favourite photos in a modern, convenient way. You can upload photos directly from your phone and set them to rotate on an automatic slideshow.
How do I set up my Framely digital photo frame?
Setting up Framely is simple. Download the ‘Frameo’ app on your phone (available on Apple and Android), plug in your Framely, connect to Wi-Fi, and follow the on-screen instructions to start uploading photos.
Can I upload photos remotely?
You certainly can! Photos can be uploaded to your Framely from anywhere using the ‘Frameo’ app on your smart phone – all you need is an internet connection on your phone.
Can I display videos on Framely?
Yes you can, videos can be uploaded to your Framely using the Frameo app, however, you will have to choose a 15-second snippet of your video to display.
Does Framely support multiple users?
Yes, you can share access with family members or friends, allowing them to upload their photos to your Framely.
Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘My friends’ > Tap the ‘Add user’ button in the top right corner > Provide your family and friends with the numerical or QR code.
Note that those with shared access will also require the ‘Frameo’ app to connect and send photos.
Do I need an internet connection to use Framely?
We highly recommend using Framely with a Wi-Fi connection to receive photos and videos from your phone. Framely can be used offline once the photos/videos have been received.
Alternatively, you can also upload photos and videos using external storage via USB or Micro SD, or plug it directly into your PC or laptop device for direct transfer.
Can I adjust the display settings?
Absolutely! You can adjust the brightness, and how long each photo is displayed in the settings.
For brightness adjustments: Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Display’ > Adjust ‘Brightness level’.
For slideshow timer: Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Slideshow’ > Adjust ‘Timer’.
Can Framely be wall mounted?
Yes, Framely has mounting points for both landscape and portrait orientation.
Does Framely always stay turned on?
Framely can be configured to turn on and off according to your schedule with ‘Sleep Mode’.

How do I stop videos from automatically playing?
Framely is configured to play videos automatically by default.
To disable this auto play feature: Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Slideshow’ > Under the ‘Video’ tab, unselect ‘Autoplay’.
Does Framely have a battery or does it need to be plugged in?
Framely does not have a built-in battery and needs to be plugged in to operate.
What happens if my Wi-Fi connection is lost?
If your Wi-Fi connection is lost, Framely will continue to display photos that were already downloaded until the connection is restored.
